Norwest Business Park spans the suburbs of Norwest and Bella Vista in The Hills Shire, about 35 km north-west of the Sydney CBD. From T1 International it is roughly 41 km by road, usually around 45 to 60 minutes off-peak via the M2 and the city or the M7 and M5, and well over an hour at peak. The park's own website says more than 400 companies are based there, employing more than 25,000 people, along Norwest Boulevard, Lexington Drive, Brookhollow Avenue and the streets around them. Woolworths has its head office in the park, at Woolworths Way, Bella Vista. That brings a lot of visitors who need reliable cars:

Metro or private car from Norwest?

Norwest Metro station sits on Norwest Boulevard in the middle of the park, with Bella Vista station nearby, and the Metro North West line runs through to Chatswood and the city. For a daily commute that is hard to beat. For the airport, though, the train trip involves changes and a long journey with luggage, and the station access fee at the airport adds to the cost. A door-to-door car is simpler, especially for early flights, for families or for anyone carrying samples or equipment.

Early flights from the Hills: timing your pickup

The first flights of the day are when a Hills District pickup needs the most care. At 4:30am the M2 is clear and the run to the airport is at its quickest, but by 6:30am traffic towards the city is building and the same trip can take far longer.
