Airport shuttle Penrith: why travellers go private
From the foot of the Blue Mountains, getting to Sydney Airport means a long train ride with a change, or a shared shuttle bus that collects other passengers along the M4. Either way the trip takes much longer than the drive itself. A private airport shuttle alternative like SkyMiles gives you a known price without the detours. The car is booked for your group and goes when you need it to.
Penrith to Sydney Airport: route and timing
Drivers usually take the M4 east and then the WestConnex tunnels to the airport. Sometimes they'll use the M4, M7 and M5, depending on live traffic. Off-peak you'll be at the terminal in about 55 minutes. On weekday mornings the M4 can add 20 to 30 minutes, so for a 7 am international departure we normally suggest a pickup around 3:30 to 4 am.

Penrith to airport shuttle cost
Shared shuttles charge per seat, which works out fine for one person. For a couple or a family, a private car is often similar or better value once you add the seats together. Your SkyMiles fixed fare covers the whole vehicle, and it's shown before you book. Compare vehicles in the fare table on this page, or check another address with our fare calculator. Airport pickups include an A$12 access charge, and child seats are A$10 each.
