Bondi to Coogee walk facts
- Distance: 6 km one way.
- Time: 2 to 3 hours with photo stops.
- Terrain: sections of steep stairs. It is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs.
- Beaches on the way: Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, Clovelly, Gordons Bay and Coogee.

Current closure: North Bronte
Part of the North Bronte section has been closed since a rockfall in August 2025, and Waverley Council has not announced a reopening date. Follow the signed detour. We'll check the latest before your day and can pick up partway along if you'd rather skip a section.
Sample half or full day
- Morning: pickup from your hotel or home.
- Bondi: drop-off at the south end near Icebergs.
- Walk: Tamarama, Bronte, Waverley Cemetery cliffs, Clovelly and Gordons Bay.
- Coogee: lunch, then your driver meets you.
- Optional: Watsons Bay and The Gap, then back to your hotel.
