Taxi to Accor Stadium: where private cars drop off and pick up
Accor Stadium sits on Edwin Flack Avenue in the middle of Sydney Olympic Park, next door to Qudos Bank Arena (now Afterpay Arena). The stadium's own visitor guide sends rideshare and hire cars to Dawn Fraser Avenue for drop-off and pick-up, and points taxi users to the taxi rank near the Novotel on Olympic Boulevard. Sydney Olympic Park lists an accessible pick-up and drop-off point at the Keyhole on Edwin Flack Avenue for vehicles displaying a current Mobility Parking permit.
On the biggest nights, Sydney Olympic Park Authority can close local roads and change traffic arrangements to keep pedestrians safe, so the exact kerb can move from one event to the next. We check the published arrangements for your event before the day and your chauffeur confirms the meeting point with you by phone or message, so you are never guessing which side of the precinct to walk to.
Accor Stadium transfers for concerts in late 2026
The stadium's events page lists several big shows before the end of 2026:
- Foo Fighters, Take Cover Tour: Tuesday 10 November 2026.
- Robbie Williams, BRITPOP World Tour: Saturday 14 November 2026. The event page says public transport is included in the ticket.
- Harry Styles, Together, Together: Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026, with a listed start time of 5pm and final show times still to be confirmed.
A Tuesday-night concert lands right on top of the weekday evening peak, so allow extra time on the motorways and leave earlier than you think. For the Saturday and Sunday shows, the roads are quieter but the precinct fills early. Whatever you are seeing, book your return pickup with your drop-off; cars get booked out on stadium nights, and a confirmed booking beats a rank queue after the encore.

Maxi taxi Olympic Park: getting a group there together
Stadium nights are group nights: a birthday, a work function, a family who bought tickets a year ago. Rather than splitting across two or three cars and losing each other in the crowd, put everyone in one vehicle:
- Sedan: up to 3 passengers, ideal for a couple or a small group.
- SUV: up to 4 passengers with more room.
- Maxi 7-seater: up to 6 passengers.
- Maxi 11-seater: up to 11 passengers, the usual choice for a group booking or a corporate box.
Fares start from A$70 for a sedan, A$80 for an SUV, A$90 for a Maxi 7 and A$110 for a Maxi 11 on short trips, and longer trips are priced on distance, always as a fixed total. See our maxi taxi Sydney page for what fits in each van.
Booking your Accor Stadium return pickup
Getting in is the easy part. Tens of thousands of people leave Sydney Olympic Park within the same half hour, train platforms queue back up the hill and the roads out of the precinct are slow until the crowd clears. A pre-booked return is the simplest way through it.
- Tell us the finish time. Give us the advertised end time, or your best guess, when you book. For sport, tell us if extra time or a presentation might keep you longer.
- Agree a meeting point. We suggest a point a short walk from the gates, away from the heaviest crowd and any road closures.
- Call or message when you are walking out. Your chauffeur's number is in your confirmation, so you can let them know the moment you are on your way.
You can book a one-way return only, too: catch the train in while it is quiet, then ride home in comfort.
Accor Stadium transfers from the airport, CBD and suburbs
Accor Stadium is about 20 km by road from Sydney Airport's T1 International terminal and about 17 km from the CBD. Off-peak, the drive from the airport usually takes around 25 to 35 minutes; at weekday peak or on event nights, allow considerably more. Flying in for a show? Your chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you in arrivals, and you can stop at your hotel to drop bags on the way. The A$12 airport access charge for airport pickups is already counted in the price you are quoted.
We also collect from Parramatta, the Hills, the Inner West, the North Shore, the Eastern Suburbs and our home base in south-west Sydney. Check the fare table on our Sydney Olympic Park airport transfers page for airport prices, or call 0434 663 034 for a fixed quote from your address.
Train, event bus or private car?
We will be straight with you: public transport is often included with event tickets, and the stadium itself recommends it. Trains run between Lidcombe and Olympic Park every 10 to 20 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes on weekends, and for major events Transport for NSW adds express trains and Major Event Buses. If you are one or two people travelling from a station on the network, that is hard to beat.
A private car makes sense when you have young children or older relatives, when someone has limited mobility, when your suburb has no direct service, when you have hospitality tickets and want to arrive relaxed, or when you simply do not want to stand in a platform queue at midnight. Many groups find a maxi van works out close to the cost of several rideshares, with none of the surge. Read more on our event transfers page.
