ICC Sydney drop-off: Iron Wharf Place and Zollner Circuit

ICC Sydney's administration address is 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000, on Cockle Bay. According to the venue's event guidelines, vehicle drop-off and pick-up for both the Convention Centre and the Exhibition Centre is at the main entrance in Iron Wharf Place, off Darling Drive, shared with Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. A second drop-off point is at Zollner Circuit, beside the entertainment centre at the southern end, also reached from Darling Drive. Transport for NSW notes a taxi rank on Iron Wharf Place outside ICC Sydney.

Sydney Airport to ICC Sydney transfers for delegates

ICC Sydney is about 13 km by road from T1 International, usually around 20 to 30 minutes off-peak, longer in the weekday morning peak. Many delegates fly in on the morning of the first day, so timing matters:

• Flight tracking. We watch your flight, so an early landing or a delay is handled without a phone call.
• Meet and greet. Your chauffeur waits in T1 arrivals after customs, or near baggage claim at T2 and T3.
• Hotel first, or straight to registration. We can stop at your hotel to drop bags on the way.

Conference organisers often need cars that run to a schedule rather than an app: a keynote speaker landing at 7am, a panel of guests moving to an evening dinner, a VIP who needs a discreet return to the airport straight after their session. Event traffic around Darling Harbour

Darling Drive is the only road access to the ICC drop-off points, and it can be affected by major city events. During Vivid Sydney 2026, for example, ICC Sydney advised that access from the Anzac Bridge onto Darling Drive could be impacted on certain evenings, and published an alternative route via Harris Street and Ultimo Road with a turnaround at the Iron Wharf Place roundabout. Your chauffeur checks for event closures before each trip, so you do not have to.

Prefer public transport for part of the day? The L1 light rail stops at Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Town Hall and Central stations are about a 10-minute walk, according to the venue. Many delegates walk in from city hotels in the morning and book a car only for the airport or an evening event.
